ProfessorMy research focuses on community systems and care approaches that enable older adults to live independently, safely, and with dignity, regardless of their condition or location. With the goal of creating a Dementia-Friendly Community, I have developed educational programs for dementia awareness that incorporate card games, VR, and drama-based learning materials. These programs are currently being implemented in school and community education to foster the ‘ability to care’ among citizens of all ages.

Professor / DirectorI have been working on the development and implementation of the Evidence-based Practice (EBP) system in long-term care facilities, with a specific focus on rehabilitation wards. Both EBP and its implementation require InterProfessional Collaboration (IPC) as they are rarely achievable by a single profession. I have been diligently pursuing these efforts, hoping that they will contribute to improving the quality of care.

LecturerIn busy healthcare environments, infection prevention practices can be challenging to maintain consistently. By visualizing normally invisible microorganisms, droplets, and aerosol particles, I aim to enhance healthcare professionals’ awareness and foster a workplace culture that supports sustainable infection prevention behaviors. Ultimately, I believe that the accumulation of these efforts will contribute to a reduction in healthcare-related infections.

Since nursing is a profession dedicated to supporting people's health, I believe nursing students should also be encouraged to prioritize their own well-being and recognize the importance of self-care early in their education. However, current evidence suggests that self-care among nursing students remains insufficient. Through my research, I hope to identify strategies that foster sustainable self-care behaviors in their daily lives.
