ProfessorI am dedicated to International Economics, with a particular focus on empirical and theoretical analysis of trade and investment in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as philosophical and ideological reflections on political economy. My research endeavors encompass individuals, society, and nature, including the global environment, with a constant awareness of their interconnectedness. I aim to pursue interdisciplinary research, striving to understand these elements as integral components of one interconnected world, although it can be a challenging endeavor.
Recent Topics of Interest:
I aspire to engage in interdisciplinary reflections on the current state and future prospects of global capitalist activities, exemplified by free trade. I aim to examine them in the context of human nature, the concept of the nation-state, and the trends in the natural environment, recognizing the inherent challenges involved.
Motto in Research or in Life:
I want to lead a purposeful life, considering what I should do as a human being within society and nature, even before being a researcher.
Hobby / Holiday:
While striving to adhere to the above-mentioned motto, I also find relaxation on the couch, indulge in long walks, and often pick up food and drinks to enjoy during my walks.
