Associate ProfessorMy research focuses on the design, architecture, and evaluation of networked systems, ranging from Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to the core Internet. My objective is to advance state-of-the-art technologies that enhance the performance of networked systems (e.g., energy efficiency, throughput, and latency) and enable better provisioning of Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE). I employ both theoretical analysis and practical implementation to solve complex research problems. My current work centers on the convergence of IoT with Distributed Ledger Technologies (Blockchain), the optimization of IoT system efficiency, and the application of AI to network operations and protocols.
Recent Topics of Interest:
IoT-Blockchain Convergence, Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT), AI for networking, Multipath Communication (MPTCP/MPQUIC), Network Softwarization (SDN/NFV)
Motto in Research or in Life:
