Graduate School of Informatics, Chiba University
Professor / DeanI conduct research on evaluating and optimizing the performance of communication systems—such as computer networks—using tools from probability theory, stochastic processes, queuing theory, and optimization theory, and apply these insights to their design and control. More recently, I have expanded my focus beyond communication systems to the analysis of real-world and social media phenomena using stochastic modeling.
Recent Topics of Interests:
・Performance evaluation of wireless systems using stochastic geometry
・Queuing models for wireless power transfer systems
・Mathematical analysis of inequality phenomena, consensus formation, and traffic congestion
・Wi-Fi sensing
Motto in Research or in Life:
Do your best with what you have.
Hobby / Holiday:
I usually spend my days off doing housework.
