ProfessorMy study examines the relationship between science, technology, and society from various perspectives such as history, politics, risk assessment, communication, ethics, and culture.
When I was a young researcher, I initially focused on "food" and then on "energy."
Currently, I am interested in "information technology" and "life sciences". Despite my fascination with computers since childhood, I have not yet pursued a career directly related to my field.
Current Topics of Interest:
Why has AI received considerable attention?
Research and Life Motto:
Not standing in long, crowded lines—this includes a metaphorical meaning—is a guiding personal principle.
Hobbies / Holiday Activities:
Wandering leisurely around the town on a bicycle. Taking a stroll with my dog. Watching TV dramas and comedies.

Associate ProfessorMy research focuses on the design, architecture, and evaluation of networked systems, ranging from Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to the core Internet. My objective is to advance state-of-the-art technologies that enhance the performance of networked systems (e.g., energy efficiency, throughput, and latency) and enable better provisioning of Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE). I employ both theoretical analysis and practical implementation to solve complex research problems. My current work centers on the convergence of IoT with Distributed Ledger Technologies (Blockchain), the optimization of IoT system efficiency, and the application of AI to network operations and protocols.
Recent Topics of Interest:
IoT-Blockchain Convergence, Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT), AI for networking, Multipath Communication (MPTCP/MPQUIC), Network Softwarization (SDN/NFV)
Motto in Research or in Life:
Working hard is beautiful.
Hobby / Holiday:
I am a passionate soccer enthusiast, enjoying both playing and watching the game.
