Associate ProfessorI study how the host recognizes and eliminates pathogens. The immune system protects us in several steps: by detecting invading microbes, mobilizing immune cells to the site of infection, and eliminating these threats. It also plays a crucial role in resolving inflammation once the pathogens have been cleared. My research aims to comprehensively elucidate these mechanisms that maintain homeostasis.
