ProfessorFor robots, vision functions as the primary sensory modality, supplying rich environmental information essential for dexterous manipulation. My research group develops high-speed vision systems that perform visual recognition at kHz rates and enable high-speed visual-feedback control of robot manipulators. Through these efforts, we aim to enhance the operational capability and autonomy of robotic systems.
