Associate ProfessorDrawing on my experience at the Duke Clinical Research Institute of Duke University (USA), I have conducted clinical research at Chiba University Hospital on a wide range of diseases—from lifestyle-related diseases including diabetes, obesity, and dyslipidemia to Werner syndrome—working to establish evidence and explore new treatment strategies.
Currently, at the Center for Preventive Medical Sciences, I am involved in the Japan Environment and Children’s Study (JECS), also known as the "Eco-Children's Survey," as well as the Chiba Study of Mother and Child Health (C-MACH), which investigates child health and development beginning in the fetal stage.

Recent Topics of Interests:
・Investigating the impact of environmental factors such as chemicals, as well as diet and physical activity, on health throughout the life course—from the parental generation and fetal stage to childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and older age.
・Conducting database research utilizing real-world data and big data.
・Promoting collaborative research by leveraging networks with researchers and companies in Japan and abroad.
