Research Center for Child Mental Development, Chiba University
Professor / Vice DirectorI aim to advance medical care by elucidating, from a neural circuit perspective, how the ‘anxiety' that we all experience influences the mind and how eating disorders affect brain function. I also investigate the brain characteristics of individuals prone to anxiety or eating disorders and examine how treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy can alleviate brain dysfunction.
Recent Topics of Interest:
Neuroimaging research on anxiety and eating disorders, along with the development of resilience education programs based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
Motto in Research or in Life: Everything will be ok.
Hobby / Holiday:
I enjoy cooking international cuisines at home, as I rarely get the chance to go abroad. I also stay active through cycling and playing tennis.
