Vice President / Professor / Center DirectorI conduct research using Earth observation big data—such as ionospheric and geomagnetic data—to detect and visualize early-stage anomalies associated with earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic activity from an aerial perspective. Through data-driven analysis, my goal is to identify precursory signals and develop a new concept of ‘geo-weather forecasting’ that contributes to disaster prevention and mitigation.
